On Saturday evening I was a small party with some of my friends. Hard to believe I did not know a few of the people there. Knowing I had to talk to a stranger for one of my assignments, I made moves. I approached the keg to fill up my beer and I started a conversation with someone (I will keep them nameless) about greek life. We talked for a while about the difference between fraternities on campus and how we feel about them. We both had very good points about each one. We then continued talking and decided to play some drinking games together. I eventually told him i had to talk to a stranger for my class and they laughed. I left the party with one more friend.
This experience made me open my eyes and realize that I can talk to a bunch of people and get to know them, rather than just stay with my friends. Instead of texting on my cell phone, I can make conversations and get to know people.

Second Life Experience
My second life experience was interesting to say the least. I could not figure out the whole hair thing so I decided to go with an alternative personality and go with a green mohawk... naked. I was very surprised to see that "Take off all clothes" as an option. But I decided to see if it would work so I clicked it. Immediately all of clothes disappeared and I started flying around naked. I thought it was hilarious so I kept doing it until my professor came in and said demanded me to put pants on or I wouldn't get credit. So I threw on a green-man suit and flew around a little more, blew kisses at some of the girls in the class and then my computer died. I think that it was a fun sort of assignment and that in second life you can truly be who ever you want to be.
